PROCUREMENT

Our Milk Procurement

Rajhans Milk follows a cooperative-based procurement system to collect fresh milk directly from village societies and farmers in the Sangamner region. The procurement network includes multiple co-operative milk societies, bulk milk coolers, and transport tankers to maintain quality from farm to processing plant.

Milk is primarily collected through co-operative societies and bulk milk coolers installed at village level, ensuring hygienic handling and proper temperature control. The collected milk is transported to the processing plant using tankers with separate compartments to maintain society-wise quality standards.

Under the Clean Milk Production Scheme, Rajhans installed 67 bulk milk coolers across 59 co-operative milk societies, and milk is collected from about 100 co-operative milk producing societies. These facilities help in maintaining freshness and improving procurement efficiency.
